Tacos on the Street is a high-volume, fast-casual restaurant built on teamwork, hustle, and clean execution. We serve simple, high-quality tacos, bottled beer, and ready-to-drink cocktails — all with sharp, fast service.
As a Restaurant Crewmember, you’ll work across both the kitchen and the front of house, learning multiple stations and jumping in wherever the team needs you. From working the line and prepping fresh ingredients to taking orders, running food, and keeping the dining room spotless — you’ll be part of a crew that gets it done, together.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen / Back-of-House
Prepare tacos, quesadillas, sides, salsas, and sauces to recipe specs with speed and precision
Work the grill, cold table, prep areas, and dish station
Portion ingredients using scales, scoops, and containers; label and rotate products properly
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen station; assist with daily deep cleaning tasks
Support receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory
Front-of-House
Take guest orders at the register and enter them accurately in the POS
Assemble sundaes, run food and drinks to tables, and stage takeout orders
Restock sauces, napkins, utensils, and maintain clean guest areas
Keep the dining room, patio, restrooms, and entry areas clean and guest-ready
Follow alcohol service policies; check IDs when assisting with beer or cocktail service
Team Support
Rotate between stations as needed to support the flow of service
Communicate clearly with kitchen and FOH teammates
Assist with inventory counts and restocking
Be ready to jump in wherever the team needs you
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly (cases of produce, tortillas, drinks, etc.)
Able to bend, squat, reach, and use step stools or ladders as needed
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen and moving between indoor/outdoor guest areas
Must be able to navigate tight spaces and move quickly during peak periods

Team-first attitude; willing to help wherever needed
Physically fit and comfortable with active, hands-on work
Previous kitchen or FOH experience helpful, but not required
Requirements
Must have or be able to obtain a valid Texas Food Handler’s Certificate before your first shift
Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
TABC Certification is a plus if supporting alcohol service
